Ange, this one caught me when I didn't expect it. I am now in tears. I am there with you - tired, cheerleading, trying, loving hard. Please can I share this with a few others I know would really benefit from reading it. This one is most fully required out in the world. It is brilliant. Thank you for writing it

Oh of course Nelly, wanting to share with people who might be encouraged is the biggest and best encouragement I can hear 🧡, thank you x (each week your prompts are sooo fantastic, this week’s prompt was especially special 🙏)

I just shared it with my husband (he's not big into poetry so I don't do this very often) and we had a small moment together. I've never heard him enthuse much about any poems but he really connected to this. Thank you again.

Oh! I expected to have an emotion but it hit me anyway. Tears! Hugs from one mama of an "additional needs child" to the other parents of extra special kids reading this.

So well written. How those words shine in the blackout. Cleverly done.

Wow Ange - I’m just trying to catch up on Substack after Easter and found your poem. It is so powerful. So much courage and care right there.

Oh, wow. This is powerful. Now I want the people who drafted the template response you received to see this poem! It should be felt widely💛
